Parmigiani Fleurier has been sponsoring the Montreux Jazz Festival for many years. Each year, Montreux Jazz Festival founder and general manager Claude Nobs presents Parmigiani timepieces to distinguished featured artists. This year, the watches were awarded to Lily Allen, the Black Eyed Peas (Will.I.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie), Jamie Cullum, Alice Cooper, Chaka Khan, B.B. King, Wyclef Jean and Herbie Hancock.
The limited edition of its Kalpa XL and Grande models feature the swirl of a piano keyboard, with a graphic signature designed to express Parmigiani's heartfelt link to the event and echo the musical theme of this year’s Montreux festival posters.

The watches come in two colors, pink for ladies and blue for men. The dial of the Kalpa Grande or Kalpa XL has an hour, minute and central seconds display.
Available only in steel, the model is fitted with a white python skin strap for the Kalpa Grande model or with a blue alligator strap for the Kalpa XL model.
Although relatively young compared to other Swiss watch maker, Parmigiani Fleurier is one of the world's rarest and most complete manufacturing workshops of top-quality watches in Switzerland and gained huge international recognition ever since it was founded in 1975 by Parmigiani Fleurier. Every watch is handmade in workshops in Fleurier and exclusivity is virtually guaranteed as only a few thousand timepieces are created annually.
If you like to closely appreciate the beauty of Parmigiani Fleurier watch, I would recommend you to buy yourself a Parmigiani Fleurier replica watch. They are much cheaper than the original watch but have the same look as the original one.
